Rock Wall Safety Rules:

Safety is our greatest concern at the rock wall. There is generally one staff member attending the wall during operating hours. The rock wall staff is responsible for maintaining a safe and exciting environment for climbers. Our staff has an enormous responsibility to keep an eye on all activities at the wall and take care of incoming customers. We are asking you to be aware of our policies and rules in order to improve the safety and the quality of your experience at Sun Country Rocks!

  • A Sun Country Staff member will belay a climber with a daily pass a minimum of one time per hour. This does not apply to daily passes after 7pm.
  • Belay Certification is offered free to participants over the age of 14, when staff is available.
  • Children under the age of 14 are not to be dropped off at the wall and left unattended.
  • Parents with small children are expected to make sure their children follow the rules. This combination of help from staff and parents ensures a safe and fun environment for climbers at the wall.
  • No food or drinks on the blue mat around the base of the wall.
  • Climbers that come to the wall are not permitted to go into any other program areas. (KidQuest, gym floor, party rooms, cheer floor etc.)

If there are any question regarding these rules, please do not hesitate to ask a rock wall staff member to help clarify.
